by J. Zimmerman
Total Lines in the poem | Total Words in the poem | Pattern (words per line) |
5 | 12 | 1/1/2/3/5 |
6 | 20 | 1/1/2/3/5/8 |
7 | 33 | 1/1/2/3/5/8/13 |
Line number | Total words |
1 | 1 |
2 | 1 |
3 | 2 |
4 | 3 |
5 | 5 |
6 | 8 |
7 | 13 |
8 | 21 |
9 | 34 |
Just because you start with the intention of writing a Fib, you do not have to keep your poem in that form if it does not work for you. Your attempt to write a formal poem may help you find words that you would not have found otherwise. And you may decide that you choose to end up with a poem in a different form, perhaps even a prose poem.
