Artist Statement:
Although on a news boycott, I still learn more than I want to know about.
The torture in Iraq was an embarassment to me as an American... "Don't
do what I do, do what I say..." and, it was an insult to the rest of
the world. The words, "The USA has lost much of its moral authority..."
stung my ears. The book is my expression of political activism, the sort of
activism that book artists, printers and wordsmiths have done and can do and
in my opinion need to do more of when they feel the call and inspiration.
